For those of you who’ve been here before you may have seen me rambling on about Simon Roberts’ Election Project. I was intending, a few weeks ago, to go along to a brief exhibition of the project at Portcullis House in Westminster as part of the Open House weekend. Unfortunately events conspired against me and I didn’t make it along, however having exchanged a few messages with Simon he promised to send me a copy of the newspaper he produced as part of the exhibition – and it arrived today.

It’s a lovely document of the project featuring all twenty five of Simon’s superfine photographs from the exhibition along written pieces by Peter Wilby – journalist at the Guardian and The Observer, Greg Hobson – curator of photographs at the excellent National Media Musem in Bradford, Sean O’Hagan – who writes on photography in the Guardian and the Rt Hon John Bercow MP – the current Speaker of the House of Commons.

It also features a couple of pages of photographs from those who contributed to the project including in the bottom left hand corner this from a certain Mr Daniel Weir.
